Deadline Quickly Approaching to save on AAU Memberships

AAU Football Leadership, make sure you let all your programs know they have until midnight on the 14th to sign up for the 2023-24 tackle football season to save on the membership increase effective August15th. Any flag needs to sign up under tackle until the 14th. You should have received my email below with the steps to register. The AAU Special Meeting of Congress on June 6th voted unanimously to go with the Rsportz registration platform and the increased fees due to insurance increases and other business expenses.
However, the 2023-24 AAU Tackle Football and Football Cheer programs started registration on July 1st, 2023 for these two AAU sports programs any members who registered by August 14th at midnight they would receive last years price. On August 15th AAU Tackle Football and Football Cheer along with all of the AAU sports go to the new pricing fees.
NOTE: Since many AAU tackle organizations have flag age divisions we have been forming them to sign up under (FT) TACKLE FOOTBALL. The AAU membership is good for all 52 sports in the AAU youth programs.
Note; If an organization or member does not want to pay the convenience fee charged when paying by credit card they can mail their completed application or CVS file with a check to the AAU National Office Po Box 22409 Lake Busna Vista, Florida 32830.

To register as an AAU Non-Athlete: (Coach) - https://aau.rsportz.com/
Note: Any coach who had a multi year membership has been issued a refund check with a letter of explanation. Keep in mind we are the only sport who has been granted the old pricing if you register by midnight on August 14th. Coaches who register before 8/15/2023 may register for one season..
STEP ONE: Go to https://aau.rsportz.com and select your sport and select Non-Athlete on the next page.
STEP TWO: Fill out the form with your information. A background check is included. You will be able to select your club affiliation from a dropdown of all registered clubs.
STEP THREE: Once you complete payment, you will receive an email receipt and after you clear the background check you will be issued a valid AAU membership ID for the year.https://aau.rsportz.com/
NOTE: COACHES CANNOT TAKE THE PCA COURSE UNTIL 8/15/23

To register an AAU Club:
STEP ONE: Go to https://aau.rsportz.com and select your sport and select Club on the next page. Then select your club level.
STEP TWO: A Non-Athlete registration is required for club registration. If you don't have one already, the Non-Athlete registration will be included with your club registration. Fill out the form with your information. A background check is included.
STEP THREE: Once you complete payment, you should receive an email receipt and you will be given a valid Non-Athlete membership ID and a Club Code for the year.
NOTE: Your club becomes activated when you have cleared the background check.

Register an AAU Youth Athlete:
STEP ONE: Go to https://aau.rsportz.com and select your sport and select Youth Athlete on the next page. Then select Extended Coverage.
STEP TWO: Fill out the form with the athlete's information. You will be able to select the athlete's club affiliation from a dropdown of all registered clubs.
STEP THREE: Once you complete payment, you will receive an email receipt and you will be given your valid AAU membership ID for the year.

2023-24 AAU Tackle Football & Football Cheer season started on JULY 1ST, 2023.
NOTE: The AAU has passed a new membership fee structure that will go into effect at midnight on August 15th, 2023 for all 52 sports including all football caregories
REGISTER BEFORE 8/15/23
Very Important, since many programs had already started collecting their football program fees in May and June with the idea they would register starting on July 1st. The AAU is allowing all tackle and football cheer programs whoregisterbetweenJuly 1st and August 14th until 11:59 PM will receive the previous pricing 'registration' fee. $16Extended coverage is required by the AAU (FT) & (FC) football programs.NOTE: On August 15th the fee goes to $22 for youth tackle, including organizations looking for the extended coverage insurance benefits for football cheer, flag football and 7vs7. $20 for the basic insurance coverage for AAU license events only.
SPECIAL NOTE: If your program has a flag team/s for 6u or other age divisions you should register under the (FT) Football Tackle and (FC) Football Cheer categories to receive last years pricing. Your membership is still good for all 52 AAU Sports.
* NO OTHER AAU SPORT IS ALLOWED TO REGISTER THEIR MEMBERS UNTIL AUGUST 15TH. ALL SPORTS WILL HAVE THE NEW PRICING STRUCTURE ON AND AFTER AUGUST 15, 2023, including Tackle and Football Cheer*.
FYI, anyone registering after (12:01 AM) on the 15th of August will pay the new AAU registration fees.
